| When you book a disco, remember
that you are buying an "entertainer". Entertainments Agencies may have
large and glossy advertising but don't always allow you to choose the DJ. You
may think you're booking the main man, when, in reality you may be assigned someone with
very little experience. Make sure you get the opportunity to talk direct
to the DJ who will be "entertaining" you....Not all DJs are the
same in personality, music knowledge, and style of show. Limelite will
take the time and ask you what style of music you like, what kind of DJ interaction you
want and also advise you on the format and proceedings for the evening.
If your event is large, in a club,
marquee or hotel, you really need a true professional who will work in conjunction with
the venue and can ensure synergy between the DJ and the catering staff to keep your
function running smoothly.
Limelite will ensure that they know beforehand when the milestone events like speeches, presentations or wedding cake cutting ceremonies etc will happen and when announcements need to be made. If your DJ has experience of running corporate events he is worth his weight in gold. For your party, the importance of music is second to none. It can make your guests happy, sad or even miserable. The Limelite Roadshow has a library of over 10,000 CD tracks so we can guarantee your choice of music and respond to requests from your guests. But Limelite offer you much more than music. We offer lighting, sound effects and talented personalities so all you have to worry about . Is enjoying yourself!

| Booking Your Disco: Choose
Limelite.
We are knowledgeable about and
willing to work with you in planning the announcements, schedule of events and other
aspects of your occasion.
Tell us what time we should arrive to set up for the event - this may need to coincide with other timings you have already agreed, and may affect the price we quote you. Confirm your booking in writing, including start and finish times and any agreements you have made. Remember to include directions or map to the venue. Your DJ may agree to play extra time on the night but remember that this will not be included in the cost. Tell your DJ if the reception venue is up stairs, or if you are aware of any parking/loading or unloading problems. Ask for references. Or better still, why not come along and meet us in advance so you can see the Roadshow for yourself and discuss your ideas. |
